Here’s a brief history of our company: 1973 Gebesa was born in the city of Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico.
It began operations with the manufacture of home furnishing, distributing products in Mexico’s northeast region, with great consumer acceptance. 1986 Seeking to diversify its product line, the company decided to expand its production to metal office furniture.
The immediate success of this venture caused Gebesa to increase its infrastructure.
- 1994 Product distribution reaches 75% of the country through an extensive network of dealers, representatives and office branches strategically located.
- 1995 Gebesa ventures abroad by exporting to countries like Panama, Chile and the United States. Companies like Leggett & Platt Inc. and Win-Holt Equipment Group, , began distributing our lockers and file & storage lines in the U.S.
- 2011 Gebesa diversifies again and begins manufacturing Jobsite Storage products as private label OEM, creating a dedicated production line and investing in a new powder coating facility, with top notch technology.
- 2015 Gebesa launches Durabox™ in Mexico, its own line of jobsite storage.
